WELCOME

Breathe. Move. Connect. Thrive.

MEET CAITLIN

Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher and SEL Facilitator.
Proud dog mama of Mayzie (featured below!).
Fan of going towards fear in order to grow (like taking up surfing!).
Located in Portland, OR.

I loved to move as a kid. Growing up in Vermont provided a lot of freedom for my wild heart to run and play. Movement drew me to yoga. Healing from anxiety disorders led me to stay. Yoga helped me learn to go towards uncomfortable sensations and emotions rather than revert to my old habits of running, suppressing and avoiding difficult feelings.

Yoga is my anchor. When I become flustered, angered, uneasy, tense, judgmental, fearful, panicked, or burnt out, I return to the practices I've learned on my mat. Deep breaths. Noticing my thoughts vs. getting caught up in them. Remembering that I am not defined by self-limiting beliefs. And, reconnecting to that well of goodness and love that lives within. It's in all of us. Always. Even when we've lost sight of it.

Yoga connects us to ourselves and one another. What lights me up is deepening those lines of connection and helping guide others in doing the same.

It's an honor to teach.

My style is welcoming, supportive, encouraging, and uplifting.

PHILOSOPHY

This is your body, your practice. More important than how the poses look, is how they feel in your body. This practice teaches us to have the courage to listen carefully and respond loving to our individual needs.

Everyone's experience is unique. And, you ultimately know what is best for you. I simply offer suggestions for you to try on.

Thus, you have every right to make a change - by easing off or coming out of a pose.

You are always in choice.
